Everything You Need to Know...

❓ What happens during the screening?

During the screening, your child will be gently observed and guided through play-based and interactive tasks to assess their communication, behavior, motor skills, and sensory responses. Our team uses ABA principles to evaluate key developmental areas and determine which therapy is most appropriate. After the session, we’ll sit down with you to explain the results, discuss your child’s strengths and challenges, and recommend a personalized therapy path.

❓ Do I need a doctor’s diagnosis?

We accept children with or without a developmental pediatrician’s diagnosis or referral. We, however, conduct our own clinical screening using ABA to determine which of our programs is effective for your child's concern. Many families come to us before seeing a doctor to get initial guidance and clarification.

❓ How long does the screening take?

The screening usually takes 1-3 hours. This includes the child’s assessment and a one-on-one feedback session with you. We make sure it’s thorough but also comfortable and relaxed for your child.

❓ What if my child already has a diagnosis?

That’s totally fine—and helpful! If your child already has a diagnosis from a developmental pediatrician or another specialist, we’ll take it into consideration and still perform our own screening to personalize their therapy program even further. Every child is different, and we aim to provide the best-fit approach based on both professional input and our own observation.

❓ How soon can we start therapy after the screening?

In most cases, we can begin your child’s therapy within a few days after the screening, depending on schedule availability. Our team will recommend the best-fit program and help you choose a time slot that works for you. We make starting as smooth and stress-free as possible.

❓ Are your therapists licensed and experienced?

Yes, absolutely. Our therapists are licensed, certified, trained and experienced in handling children with a wide range of developmental concerns. They specialize in ABA, Verbal Behavior, Sensory Integration, and Play Therapy. More importantly, they’re passionate about helping children grow in a nurturing and supportive environment.

❓ Do you offer therapy packages or one-on-one sessions?

We offer both. You can choose from individual sessions, weekly therapy plans, or customized therapy packages based on your child’s needs and progress. We’ll explain the options after the screening and help you decide what works best for your child and your schedule.

❓ Can I stay with my child during the screening or therapy?

Yes, parents are welcome to stay during the screening. For ongoing therapy sessions, this may vary depending on the child’s needs and progress. In many cases, children benefit from independent sessions, but we always communicate openly and include you in the process—especially when it comes to home-based strategies and progress updates.
